So there's a new HBO series coming out on Feb. 14 which features Scott "Kid Cudi" Mescudi called How To Make In America. Labeled as a Comedy series & produced by the same cats that brought you Entourage, check out the first episode in full below. Looks pretty promising so far.
In anticipation for the show, Dj Green Lantern & Broke Mogul teamed up to bust out a sweet little genre-mixed tape. You'll something on this tape that'll fry your taste buds for sure. The tape all features Kid Cudi & Dan Black's remix to "Symphonies". See the rad video below.
Chill Mode? Mike Diaz AKA MillionYoung has got ya covered. His floaty vocals over some synthpop beats seems to be the trend right now; comparable to Neon Indian.
With all the individual talent thriving in the rap industry today its dope to see two of my favorite artists growing up as a kid putting together a collab project. Here are two singles of Damien x Nas's album: Distant Relatives.
Dubbed one of the most tech advanced workout shoes to hit the pavement, the new hybrid-tech Lunar Rejuven8 Mid by Nike fuses together some NASA type shit to create one of the lightest, most comfortable shoes ever created while still offering a generous amount of foot/ankle support.
"The Lunar Rejuven8 Mid+ shown here is a unique hybrid design, which combines the Nike Torch’s upper with a lunarlite sole. The shoe’s exquisite design is not only aesthetically pleasing, but features a lightweight, moisture-managing, supremely comfortable trhee-layer textile construction.
Here we feature the first colorway to release, which is actually part of the Nike Livestrong Pack, and boasts a black and varsity maize colorway. They are available now at select Nike accounts eincluding Bows & Arrows and retail for $125 USD." - High Snob
In anticipation for Vampire Weekend's sophomore album "Contra", I thought I'd give ya a different approach on things since you can find their leaked shit pretty much anywhere. Here are some dope reworks of their latest. Enjoy.

Been slackin' a bit during the holidays so it's only right I hit you with something raw to start off the new year. Check out Steph Lund's monthly playlist that drops every 1st of the month. Her drops have been making some noise all over the web since the insertion. This month's list isn't as creative compared to the past but she starts off strong with one of my favorite VEGA tracks.
Press the play button on the cassette tape above to start playing. Download full mixtape here.
Wale has been on the outburst of uprising stars including Charles Hamilton, Kid Cudi, and Drake but hasn't gotten too much recognition with so much good music pumping out lately. The DC kid fuses together the local go-go scene with a Northen rap sensibility. Most known for his unique style of sampling all types of genres while laying down a smooth lyrical flow.
His debut album "Attention Deficit" just dropped recently, peep a few of my favs:
Wale - Diary
Wale - 90210
Wale - Mirrors
Below are the reasons I started listening to this dood in the first place.
Well not really, but apparently Amazon.com shipped out 500 unauthorized copies of the album which is supposed to be released in February. Watch the dummies below on video negotiating with YM to get compensated for not leaking the CD. Best part is when the little weasel calls his mom to discuss his road to riches.
Ok, I'm officially sick of posting about Weezy and his entourage but I have to amuse the masses. I promise I'll post some more original shit with the next few posts.
SO another leaked track off the Rebirth album due sometime early 2010. Not a big fan so far what has come out of Weezy's rock inspired project but this track has everyone's blog worldwide drippin'. Shady's flow is also pretty hard. Take a listen.
Ok, so I'm about to reallly spoil you Indie/Electro/Disco/Hipster/Whateva the fuck you label yourselves as right now with a Best of '09 compilation. We'll call this an early Christmas present from me to you. Thanks to the chicks @ forthebeat for this one. Download this mixtape and listen outside the box for once.
Since Christmas is right around the corner I figured there's no better way to get you in holiday jive mode then to compile a list of all those classic Christmas songs you love but have no idea who sings them. Classic Playlist (Click Link to play all)

Basically just sign up by giving your name & email for a chance to win a weekly giveaway of $400 to KarmaLoop. They sell basically every dope clothing / accessories line out there. Nothing to lose here. Good Luck, probably pissed if one of you fuckers win and I don't.
Aight, so this british fuck been growin' on me a bit lately. His name is Dan Black, but he is white. I must warn you his voice might repel you at first but I promise listen to all the hoopla I post below in full and you'll be hooked. He made it big with his "HYPNTZ" track which is a mashup of B.I.G's - Hypnotize and Rhianna's - Umbrella which really is dope but I like his original shit better. Turn up da volume....
Ok this is the deal, at 12pm every day Jack Threads sends you an email telling you there's a sweet sale going on for a particular company. Everything is basically 50% or more off original retail price. For instance, today I got an email @ 12pm saying there was a Supra sale going on, checked it out and bought a pair of kicks for $50. These in particular: The catch is though (of course there's always a damn catch) that these hot sale items sell out within the day, so if you want something you gotta jump on that shit quick. They have sales for basically every hip company out there.
They have a great return / exchange policy too. No Bullshit. Sign Up Here.
Quote from site: "JackThreads is an online shopping community offering apparel, sneakers, and accessories from respected brand names in the surf, skate, and street fashion subcultures—offered daily at least fifty percent off (usually more)."
Once you sign up you can see all their past sales and get an idea of what to expect in the future.
Aight tryna bust a quickie out for all you knuckleheads out there...
First off, its Taco Night over here on Congo St and nothing gets you in the mood for tacos more than J-Lo's smash hit "Taco Flavored Kisses".
Next, MTV's horrible mockery of the "Jersey Shore" debuts tonight @ 10. Though inevitably giving my stomping grounds an even worse image than it already stereotypically has, you'll get some haha's out of it.
To get all you brooklyn fade yo bro's juiced up for the show I compiled some filthy beats for ya:
nahhhhh CUDDERISBACK with a dope freeflow over Vampire Weekend's Ottoman. Whether you're a hipster or hip-hopster you'll feel this: KiD CuDi - Cudderisback
